Obama Finally Comes Clean

Transcript: President Obama’s “News” Conference – The President Finally Sheds Light on the Scandals Plaguing His Administration

By Ken K. Gourdin

A heretofore-compliant media finally raked President Barack Obama over the coals today (it’s about time!) regarding the multitudinous scandals plaguing his administration.  Please find a transcript of the press conference below.  Unfortunately, President Obama wasn’t his usual, loquacious self (click on the link below each question for President Obama’s response).  Hat tip to Keith Koffler at White House Dossier (http://www.WhiteHouseDossier.com) for refreshing my memory regarding many of these scandals:

“Mr. President, what about IRS targeting of conservative groups before the 2012 election?” http://www.hark.com/clips/stcglgpcfd-i-know-nothing

“Mr. President, can you give us an update regarding the Administration’s investigation into what happened in Benghazi on September 11, 2012, as well as its efforts to hold the officials responsible accountable?” http://www.hark.com/clips/stcglgpcfd-i-know-nothing

“Mr. President, can you tell us why Attorney General Eric Holder is still on the job when he told Congress under oath that he’d never been involved with the ‘potential prosecution’ of a journalist when he signed the affidavit accusing James Rosen of criminal wrongdoing for simply asking a source a question?” http://www.hark.com/clips/stcglgpcfd-i-know-nothing

“Mr. President, what about the ‘Fast and Furious’ ‘gun-walking’ scandal?” http://www.hark.com/clips/stcglgpcfd-i-know-nothing

“Mr. President, are you at all concerned about the companies that have gone belly-up after receiving government-guaranteed loans, such as Solyndra, Fisker, and others?” http://www.hark.com/clips/stcglgpcfd-i-know-nothing

“Mr. President, what about officials in your administration using non-government e-mail to conduct government business?  That hardly sounds like ‘the most transparent administration in history.” http://www.hark.com/clips/stcglgpcfd-i-know-nothing

“Mr. President, what about The New Black Panthers intimidating white voters at polling places?” http://www.hark.com/clips/stcglgpcfd-i-know-nothing

“Mr. President, what about reported efforts by people in your Administration to attempt to get Joe Sestak to drop out of his democratic primary against Senator Arlen Specter?” http://www.hark.com/clips/stcglgpcfd-i-know-nothing

“Mr. President, what about your war on coal?” http://www.hark.com/clips/stcglgpcfd-i-know-nothing

“Mr. President, what about your stonewalling of the Keystone Oil Pipeline, which promises to bring many jobs and would do more to stimulate the economy than anything in your alleged ‘Stimulus’?” http://www.hark.com/clips/stcglgpcfd-i-know-nothing

“Mr. President, do you deny attempting to further your agenda by using the Environmental Protection Agency as a tool to harass private citizens?”  http://www.hark.com/clips/stcglgpcfd-i-know-nothing

President Obama’s parting comment as he left the room (while flashing his famous “Million Watt Smile” and waving was, “Thanks a lot everybody.  I hope I’ve been able to shed some light on these issues!”

About kenngo1969

Just as others must breathe to live, I must write. I have been writing creatively almost ever since I learned to write, period! I have written fiction, book- and article-length nonfiction, award-winning poetry, news, sports, features, and op-eds. I hope, one day, to write some motivational nonfiction, a decent-selling novel, a stage play, and a screen play.
