Football, Baseball . . . Faceball?

By Ken K. Gourdin

Then there’s this, from Yahoo! Sports (last accessed today):

As a Weber State alumnus, I’m ashamed that this guy went to the same school I did (well, one of them, anyway).  Nevertheless, I can understand his animosity and enmity for his target, at least from a certain perspective: after all, the two combatants (or, perhaps better said, the assailant and his victim) went to different high schools!

They were at a party at 2:45 a.m.? Just goes to show, nothing good happens after midnight. (For the record, notwithstanding the story’s final paragraph, I had that thought first—before I read it.)

Seriously, best wishes to Mr. Hensley for a speedy recovery

About kenngo1969

Just as others must breathe to live, I must write. I have been writing creatively almost ever since I learned to write, period! I have written fiction, book- and article-length nonfiction, award-winning poetry, news, sports, features, and op-eds. I hope, one day, to write some motivational nonfiction, a decent-selling novel, a stage play, and a screen play.
